3 Yoga Studios You Must Try in Sydney – Now!
If you live in Sydney and you’re looking for the perfect yoga studio. Check out these three I am loving right now.
Yoga studios certainly have changed and evolved from the humble small studio to the newly developed well-being spaces of cafes, mediation rooms, yoga spaces and even restaurants.
Sydney has become a hub for new well-being spaces where you can enjoy god quality organic coffee, healthy eats and finish off with a meditation or a yoga class for dessert.
Here are three cafe style yoga studios I am loving in Sydney right now.
Located in Rozelle; the inner west of the city, Egg of the Universe is a healthy cafe of wholefoods and organic produce with a menu worthy of salivating. they cater for any type of dietary needs, whether you love your meat, you’re gluten-free or your completely vegan.
With a natural looking rustic cafe in the front upon entree, you are welcomed into the back end of the cafe where the set up is outdoors and under a stunning canopy-like tree giving you enough shelter from the sun and still letting you enjoy nature whilst you eat.
At the back of the garden there is a small door which leads you into the yoga studio. But, don’t be deceived by the small door, when you enter into the yoga studio, it’s massive. With a downstairs room dedicated to chilling with admin, storing mats and a door leading out to a car park and an upstairs yoga room which can fit at least 100, maybe 150 people in it. Huge. There is also a bathroom, lockers and a change room.
Do expect to be spiritually enlightened at this yoga studio, as classes are designed to reconnect the mind with the body.
Located in Botany, south east of the city, Botannix is the place you want to go when you want to enjoy a super quiet space away from any traffic and people noises to sit in a garden styled cafe and then do yoga in a Balinese styled garden.
Entree to this yoga studio is either via the cafe if you are planning on eating first, or via the side entrance which takes you directly into the studio. I highly recommend a morning yoga class, followed by a delicious brunch at the cafe, as their brunch menu is beautiful. Made with fresh produce and wholefoods, they cater for any dietary needs.
The yoga studio is set in a Hindi styled studio, where you look out over a beautiful garden, which is perfectly maintained and the best setting for a morning yoga class, where the birds are singing and the butterflies are popping about in the breeze. Yoga here is all about fining your inner yogi hidden deep within the soul.
Located in Bondi, The Well is a fairly new space of well-being, wellness, clean eating and yoga. And of course, being surrounded by the fresh sea air of Bondi Beach is a plus when working on your inner health.
The cafe up front is a space of clean white lines, rustic wooden tables and friendly smiles on all the staff. You can enjoy a nice fruit smoothie, fresh Buddha styled salad and veggie bowls or brunch of eggs on toast – whatever your taste buds are craving. And the coffee here is amazing also.
The yoga studio caters for a variety of fitness types, from yoga and Pilates to mediation. Unlike Egg of the Universe and Botannix where yoga classes are more about the inner spiritual concepts of yoga, The Well is more upbeat when it comes to training. Meaning, they work you hard. So do be prepared to sweat at their classes.
