The Results of My Enzyme Facial with DMK

Received some fabulous results from my Enzyme facial with the incredible skincare brand DMK.

I went into the DMK day spa for a body sculpting treatment and was treated to an alkaline and enzyme facial instead. Well actually, I received both the facial and the body sculpt at the same time and spent an amazing three hours of bliss being spoilt with some luxurious treatments.

If you don’t know who or what DMK is, Danné Montegue-King is a skincare brand founded, developed and created by founder Danné in the 1970s and became popular after his breakthrough discovery of enzyme therapy, vitamin C therapies and trans epidermal creams.

So, if you thought enzyme facials and vitamin C treatments were something new to skincare, you were wrong.

My facial started with a deep cleanse and then was followed by an alkaline cleanse. Alkaline cleanses (facials) is where a high alkaline based solution is applied to the skin to remove excess fine hairs, smooth skin surface, remove dead skin cells, reduce ageing lines, kill bacteria and combat skin pigmentation. I mean is there anything alkaline can not do.

The process is a weird sensation and tingles on the skin a lot like a glycol acidic treatment. It starts as a soft prickle to the skin and then slowly increases to a hotter tingle. Once this happens, it is removed from the skin as the heated tingle means the alkaline has done its job.

Once the solution was removed, the glycolic facial was then applied. DMK is known for its enzyme facials.

It’s called Enzyme Therapy and it’s designed to restore skin back to its peak condition. DMK is the only company in the world who utilises the beneficial effects of transfer-messenger enzymes.

Enzymes are a living substance which works to regulate health and work with certain minerals within the body to form a natural system of antioxidants, which fights corrosive free radicals.

Properly formulated, enzymes can remove dead proteins, toxins, and other effluvia from the epidermis using a process called reverse osmosis. The DMK enzyme facial treatment works with the skin and aims to strengthen the structural integrity of the skin to create a healthy environment for cells to live and thrive.

It’s been five days since the facial treatments and my skin has seriously never been better, nor felt better and has never looked so good. I’m seriously impressed.

Now, I have had the enzyme facial before, around a year ago with DMK for a story I wrote for Renae’s World. However, I’d not had the facial with the alkaline treatment and I do believe both facial worked well together to give me glowing, smooth and seriously younger-looking skin.

I’ve been invited to go back to DMK for another enzyme facial and you know what, I think I’ll take them up on their offer. Especially if my skin keeps feeling this good afterwards. And the spa (or clinic) for DMK is a nice relaxing space to enjoy some pampering, clinical treatments and catch up on some downtime.
