And just like that… the tree is officially complete. I love watching how people decorate their trees, and some are simply amazing. Like my sister in law’s tree. For me, I like things more traditional and with a whole lot of decorations in all shapes and sizes - including real pine cones 🌲

The warm weather made this year’s decorating a slow, steady process — but the final result was so worth it. ✨

On Sunday we wandered through the beautiful, timeworn grounds of Old Rouse Hill House — a quiet pocket of history tucked into Sydney’s northwest. Exploring its gardens and preserved rooms felt like stepping back in time, and learning about the Rouse family’s legacy gave the day an even deeper meaning.
