5 Infused Lavender Beauty Products for Spring

These are the five best lavender infused beauty products I am obsessing over for Spring.

I recently visited a lavender farm, and although it was not yet in full bloom, you could still smell the beautiful scent of lavender on the luscious leaves of the plants. And I just couldn’t help writing a story today on the benefits of lavender, including my fave lavender infused beauty products as well.

So, if you can’t stand lavender and have no interest in using lavender infused beauty products – you may want to tune out now. Unless of course you are planning on buying for someone else who is obsessed with lavender. In which case, please, read one.

If you didn’t know already, lavender has loads of health benefits, some which you may now, and others you may not now of.

Though lavender is most commonly used in aromatherapy. The fragrance from the oils of the lavender plant is believed to help promote calmness and wellness. It’s also said to help reduce stress,ย anxiety, and possibly even mildย pain. It can also be ingested in jams, honey and mixed in salads. And can also be added to chamomile tea for an extra sleepy benefits to an already calming tea.

And if you didn’t already know, the name lavender derived from the Latin root ‘lavare’ which literally translates to ‘wash’ LOL. The earliest use of lavender dates back to ancient Egypt, when the oil played a huge role in the mummification process. Then in later times, it became a bath additive for many ancient cultures, including Persia, Ancient Greece and Rome, where they believed lavender helped purify the body and the mind.

Which is also seen in today’s times, where lavender is seen in many beauty products as it helps calm the mind, and can even be used to calm irritated skin.

Here are five lavender infused beauty products I swear by:

Teami – Soothe, Tea Infused Facial Oil with Lavender and Sage RRP $49.03

This oil is designed to calm irritated and inflamed skin. The lavender flower cleanses & purifies the skin of redness and inflammation. The white sage leaf reverses the signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. And the blue tansy essential oil encourages relaxation and reduces tension.

Kora Organics Lavender Mist Spray RRP $42

A gentle facial mist that calms your mind, body and skin and great to use either right after cleansing, or before you go to sleep at night to help relax you for sleep. The lavender works to keep skin hydrated and relaxed after cleansing, and help clam the mind before sleep.

Lancome Teint Isole Ultra Wear Camouflage Corrector in Lavender RRP $64

This colour correcting lavender infused product by Lancome using revolutionary technology to correct any discolouration of the skin, such as discolouration, redness, sallowness, under-eye dark circles, dullness or dark spots based on your skin concern. The Lavender tone of this corrector especially focuses on neutralising the look of yellow and sallow skin to add brightness, and won’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.

Laneige – Water Sleeping Mask with Lavender RRP $44.60

Wishful Honey Balm Jelly Moisturiser RRP $91

Though a little pricier than the other mentioned lavender infused products – I absolutely loved this moisturiser. This innovative jelly-meets-balm honey-like texture is the first of its kind outside Korea. The water-in-silicone emulsion locks-in moisture whilst our potent ingredient complex soothes, boosts luminosity and minimises the appearance of pores with the use of honey, lavender, turmeric and other yummy goodies for your skin.
