My 2020 Halloween Decor Inspirations

So inspired by all the Halloween decorating Pinterest posts, I just had to copy some for 2020

Of course, this can be challenging, when a lot of the posts are from America, the UK and Europe , where of course for them they are now celebrating Autumn and Fall. Where for us Aussies, the season is Spring.

Although you can find some pretty awesome Autumn / Fall and Halloween inspired decor, it’s nothing compared to what is available overseas. Though, I’ve been lucky to score some great Halloween decorations when travelling throughout those seasons in the UK, Canada and the US.

Shops like TK MAXX and Target have probably been my best picks here in Australia, as they seem to have the best decorations every year. From Wiccan weaved pumpkins to ghoulish wreaths, and beautiful pillows. For kitchenware, Pottery Barn has also come to my rescue with some of the best tea towels, coffee and tea mugs inspired by all things pumpkin spice. Which reminds me, it’s a good time to make a pumpkin pie YUM..

All that’s missing now, are the ingredients to make my very own pumpkin spice latte at home and of course as mentioned, a yummy pumpkin pie.

I checked out Amazon last night and they are selling some fabulous pumpkin spiced coffee beans, delicious. Though many of the products don’t ship to Australia (sad face), I’m still on the hunt. In the meantime, I’ve been making very own pumpkin spice to mix with coffee. Which is not bad, but could certainly use a little more pumpkin and probably some caramel, if you know what I mean.

I’ve covered the main areas of the house I wanted to decorate, and I must say I’m super happy with what I’ve done this year. Of also like to note that I still have at least four full boxes of Halloween decor still sitting in storage, I just have too many. I opted for a simplistic Halloween look this year (sort of)

In the past, my decorating has gone beyond the front door, the television cabinet, my bedroom and has often moved I to spaces like the kitchen, other bedrooms, and bathrooms. But this year, I simplified the look and I’m super happy with the results.
